Integrative psychiatry blends the strengths of both Western and Eastern approaches to mental health, offering a more holistic, well-rounded treatment plan. While I am grounded in the principles of Western medicine through my training as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I also incorporate Eastern practices like mindfulness, acupuncture, herbal therapy, and yoga. This approach allows me to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms, by combining conventional psychiatric care with complementary methods that nurture mental, emotional, and physical well-being. My goal is to provide you with a personalized treatment plan that draws from both worlds, optimizing mental health and fostering overall balance.

If we reach a point where we’re not making progress—whether due to resistance, misalignment in treatment goals, or difficulty implementing recommendations—I will address this openly with you. If we’re unable to move forward productively, I may suggest a referral to another provider who may be a better fit for your needs. My priority is ensuring you receive care that truly serves you, whether with me or someone else.
